Alan D. Moore, CPA

Principal

Alan Moore is best known as one of the founders of Fossil, Inc., an international brand name fashion accessories company with yearly revenues in excess of $1 billion. Most recently, Mr. Moore was CFO and shareholder of Window on WallStreet, Inc., an Internet financial software solution and financial market data provider. Window on WallStreet was sold to Trade Station Group, Inc., a publicly traded company, in October 1999. Alan serves on the Board of Directors for several portfolio companies and is the Chairman of the Board for two of the portfolio companies.

As principal of SilverTree Partners, Alan Moore is responsible for finance, feasibility analysis and operations. Mr. Moore's success in real estate has run parallel with his successful venture capital firm, Red Oak Capital, founded in 1995, which Mr. Moore runs today. Red Oak Capital has successfully invested in high-tech, retail, manufacturing, environmental services, real estate and consulting companies. A native of Dallas, Alan holds a Master's in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Control Systems from the University of North Texas and served from 2000 to 2005 on the University of North Texas College of Business Administration Advisory Board.
