Alan D. Moore (Founding Partner) is best known as one of the founders of Fossil, Inc., the international brand name fashion accessories company with yearly revenues in excess of $1 billion. After Fossil, Moore was the CFO and a shareholder of Windows on WallStreet, Inc., an internet financial software solution and financial market data provider. Windows on WallStreet was sold to Trade Station Group, Inc (TRAD), a publicly traded company in October 1999. Alan serves on the Board of Directors for several portfolio companies.

Mr. Moore’s success in real-estate has run parallel with his successful private equity firm Red Oak Capital which was founded in 1995. Red Oak Capital has successfully invested in high-tech, retail, manufacturing, and service companies. Red Oak Capital was the first private equity firm to invest in the Palm Beach Tan retail chain of tanning stores. Moore assisted Palm Beach Tan strategically grow from eight stores to over 400 locations and create the Mystic Tan technology which was spun out in 2005.

A Dallas native, Mr. Moore earned his Masters in Accounting and Bachelor in Business Control Systems from the University of North Texas and served on the University of North Texas College of Business Administration Advisory Board from 2000 to 2005.
